The Steelcase Leap V2 is not finished when its cylinder sinks

A Steelcase Leap V2 that slowly drops is a repair case, not a chair-shopping case. Steelcase lists pneumatic cylinders under its seating warranty and replaces them in its own remanufacturing program. The safe order is warranty, dealer, verified part — not a universal cylinder bought on sight.

Choosing a chair for a decade — task seating that keeps its parts in stock

On choosing a chair you sit in for ten years. A note from the Study & workshop shelf on Steelcase, Herman Miller, Okamura, and the small attentions — replaceable casters, replaceable mesh, replaceable cylinder — that decide whether the chair is for the office or the library.
